Commercial Track — Data Centers & Utilities
Data Centers & Utilities
Hyperscale AI data centers and utility operators face sub-cycle transient threats that 15-minute SCADA systems cannot detect. GPU cluster initialization events, harmonic resonance, and neutral conductor thermal stress cause equipment failures and unplanned outages. The LIS Engine identifies these phenomena in real time — before failure occurs.

Common questions
Frequently Asked Questions
How is this different from a standard energy audit?
Standard audits measure consumption — how much energy you use. We measure distribution — how efficiently your network delivers that energy at sub-cycle resolution. Our 1 kHz forensic analysis identifies structural inefficiencies that 15-minute SCADA systems and conventional meters structurally cannot detect: harmonic distortion, neutral conductor thermal stress, capacitor bank resonance, and transient demand spikes that trigger ratchet clause exposure.
What data do you need?
For the Quick Scan and federal tiers: 12 months of utility billing data and facility interval data in CSV or COMTRADE format plus basic facility information. For the commercial Infrastructure Assessment: utility bills, facility load profile, and Submitted facility data in CSV or COMTRADE format — no on-site instrumentation required. We provide a detailed data request checklist upon engagement confirmation.
Is this eligible for federal procurement?
Yes. The Quick Scan ($2,500) and Full Forensic Assessment ($9,500) both fall under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold and are purchasable via government purchase card. Tiers 2 and 3 are structured for ESPC compatibility with ASHRAE GL-14 and IPMVP Option B compliant M&V documentation. LIS Analytics is SAM.gov registered (UEI: H5F3VN9LME86) and WOSB certified.
What if you don’t find significant savings?
For the Quick Scan, you’re only out the initial $2,500 investment. For Tiers 2 and 3, our performance fee is tied exclusively to verified savings — if we don’t find it, we don’t charge beyond the modest upfront fee. For data center and utility engagements, preliminary findings are delivered before full payment is due.
Can I start with a Quick Scan and upgrade?
Yes. The Quick Scan fee is fully credited toward the Full Forensic Assessment if you upgrade within 30 calendar days of delivery. This is the recommended path for new federal engagements — prove value first, then commit to the full analysis.
Is the methodology validated?
Yes. The LIS Engine methodology is validated against the IEEE 13-Node radial distribution test feeder (Newton-Raphson power flow convergence: 4.2×10⁻⁷ pu). The methodology is patent-pending (USPTO Application 64/027,496, filed April 3, 2026). All analytical outputs are parameterized from published IEEE load profiles and U.S./Canadian government databases.
